A PANTONE Colour Scheme & Branding for the People, Communites and Businesses of the Illawarra.
Where the mountain meets the sea
Renowned for its beautiful coastal beaches, the Illawarra encompasses the area directly south of Sydney from the Royal National Park in the north, to the seaside town of Gerroa in the south.
The region is bordered by the Illawarra escarpment to the west, and the Tasman Sea on the east.
At the heart of the region Lake Illawarra with freshwater flowing from the escarpment and saltwater from the ocean.
The name 'Illawarra' is often used interchangeably with 'Wollongong', an area historically known for its industrial past in coal mining and steel making. As the region continues to grow, the region's economy is driven by knowledge services, advanced manufacturing and tourism.
The PANTONE colour palette for the Illawarra creates a vibrant identity that reflects the natural beauty of the growing region.
